A neighborhood currently in rebirth. The new Lloyd Center Mallplex, rising from the ruins of the original, is bigger, better faster, more than the original, which was demolished in the late teens to make way for new growth. In the process, the developers bought up the blocks to the south and east of the mall for expansion.
It now covers twice as much land, with bridges over the original roads that the developers couldn't convince the city to give up. (These are actually more like tunnels, as they run the length of the mall in some parts). The mall now has five levels of shopping, a skating rink, twelve screen cinema, a medical facility, three towers for business offices, and five residential levels housing up to 5000 permanent residents.
