On the road again
So here I am, siting in a motel room somewhere north of the Sound, watching TV and pretty much bored outta me skull. I hate overnight work trips.
If you’re out for a week or more, you have time to settle into things and get a routine going. Short trips, everything’s up in the air. Bah.
And not a damn thing interesting going on.

North of the Sound is such a broad term. I can hop in my car and 3 minutes later be plunking my toes /in/ the Sound. So can I sneak into the back of the car and magically be taken back to Portland with you? Huh, huh?

Specifically, I was in Bremerton, but the point turned moot due to the lack of room in the vehicle. Techies do not travel light.
One change of clothes, enough tools and gear to network 300 computers. Wait, make that 150 comps – I only took one spool of wire…

*chuckle* Nope. Techies do not travel light, and even then it’s the clothing that’s creatively packed and interesting combinations made. And feh, that side of the water /is/ very boring.
